Digital Pipeline would like to acknowledge and commemorate the life of Douglas Englebart of the inventor of the computer mouse.

Even though it is small in physical size, it has surely enhanced the world of technology for the better.

One of the dreams of both Aseri Katanga (Chair of Trustees) and the whole team is for-: "all African Kids to be able to tell the difference between a mouse, and a mouse".

Ever since the invention of the first mouse over one billion have been sold worldwide. The original 1960’s design was described as a wooden block. This moved onto the ‘good old white mouse’ which many of you will remember. Nowadays these tools can be fashioned into a whole host of wacky forms and to some is seen as a ‘fashion accessory’.
